The Top Mini Skirts For Fall Under $100

Thursday, November 3, 2016

Outfit:
Brandy Melville nude pink sweater, Zara mini skort (also love this), Jeffrey Campbell booties (similar), Necessary Clothing Choker

Hello all of you boys and bombshells reading this! I turned into a detective and looked through the internet to find the best mini skirts for under $100. A good mini skirt will be one of your most versatile pieces for fall. I've been able to make so many outfits just off of one skirt! It kind of reminds me of that infamous math problem we all saw in our textbooks where Sue has 3 socks, 4 shorts, and 3 blouses, how many outfits can she make? In fashion, this is the only time I have appreciated math!  If you're planning on running errands or keeping it casual, just add Adidas for a more streetwear look. For work you can wear pointy ballet flats, or add booties for date night and show off those legs. When it get's chilly I'm just going to put a pair of tights on underneath. For tops the possibilities are endless too... I wore a neutral colored sweater which adds texture and keeps me cozy. I also styled it with a lace crop top and moto jacket.

This mini skirt is actually a mini skort. It has shorts in the back so it's super comfy. I got it at Zara last week so it's definitely still available! Some of my favorite places to shop for fashionable and affordable mini skirts for fall that are totally Instagram worthy are:

ASOS
ZARA

I hope you can find some adorable options that will be perfect additions to your fall wardrobe. After ripping open the internet, I think the winner of the cheapest and cutest skirt is this lace up one in baby blue from Choies for only $24! I would totally style it with a sweater the same light blue color and black booties!

How are you going to style a mini skirt for fall? Isn't it sooo much cuter than boring pants?! :)

Outfit:
Urban Outfitters Burnt Orange Cami, Levi's Vintage jeans (also worn here) similar pair here, Adidas All Stars, Zara Bag.

Is this heaven? I dragged my friend with me to puppy stores in West Village and Chelsea the other day and you can pick out any pup you want...and HOLD IT. I'm not ready to buy a dog (Danny, my yorkie, is at home with my family..mom don't let him read this!).

Shiba! He was super shy and quiet.

This little morkiepoo fluffy ball is exactly what I will probably get. I love Yorkies and darker haired pups like Danny. Plus they are super playful and want to be loved up.

Posted up at By Chloe in West Village! My favorite place in NYC for vegan food. I get the kale salad and gluten free fresh baked chocolate chip cookies of course.

Laying out at Washington Square Park. I'm super happy I had time to blog and restart up my blog. My roommate was gone for the past week and it was sooo nice. I got a lot done and finally got to work on my blog and website. Normally she is always here so it's hard to get work done! It definitely motivates me to get my own place and puppy in the near future. I'm not ready for a dog yet, but they definitely win over my heart way more than any dude ever will. The real question is, what would I name my puppy?

Winter Garden + The Prettiest Floral Dresses To Get Right Now

Friday, January 2, 2015

I spent last week at our beach house in Hilton Head. If you are lucky enough to have a warm and mild climate you can wear floral dresses like this year round. If you live in Chicago like me, or are experiencing the winter blues you can wear a floral dress with a moto jacket or tights and boots. I find a way to make my dresses work in the winter because sweat pants are just no.

The wicker purse is from an Antique store in Chicago. There was only one and I snatched it-too cute to pass up! I can't wait to wear it in the spring with gingham and pastels!

Floral prints can be enhanced by adding a pretty piece of jewelry. I felt like a necklace would take away from the dress so i opted for a bedazzled black cuff that my mom got me for Christmas. I am not sure where she got the cuff for me but I found this gorgeous Bolas Leather Cuff ($218) from Free People.

Favorite floral dresses:
1. Free People Dazed Dream Maxi ($298)
2. Free People Winter Garden Maxi ($168)
3. Free People Etheral Maxi Set ($308)
4. Free People Wanderer Mini Dress ($128)

I just wanted to thank you for reading my post and all of the comments/messages I have been getting lately encourage me to keep blogging! I appreciate it :)

P.S What are your New Years Resolutions? I have always had a mantra to work harder than I did yesterday and do things every day that will get me closer to my dreams. One of my new years resolutions is to write down things I'm thankful for everyday. Comment your resolutions and blogs below!

Hilton Head Island

Sunday, December 28, 2014

Good morning Bombshells! I am at our beach house in Hilton Head Island and soaking up as much warm weather and sun as I can before it's back to school and Chicago. I am one of those people who wears shorts or a tank top any time the temperature is over 50 degrees.

Makeup: DiorSkin Foundation, MAC mineralize skinfinish powder, Bobbi Brown Sand Palette, Better Than Sex Mascara, Maybelline gel eyeliner, Bare Minerals Warmth Bronzer, Too Faced La Belle Carousel blush, Mac lip liner Whirl, Rosebud salve lipgloss.

Outfit: Urban Outfitters lace white crop top similar here, American Apparel high waist jeans (also love these MILF jeans), BCBG ballet flats, Urban Outfitters Aztec bag( similar here) , Urban Outfitters heart sunglasses (similar here).

I know this is a summery outfit but I have been missing colors and fun printed bags. Now that they holidays are over I am looking forward to spring! I recently got my hair done darker, not really what I wanted. I had balayage carmel hair and I loved it-I wanted my root to blend and my hair stylist ended up completely ruining the color and threw a dark color on it. SOOO not cool. Do you guys know of any good salons in Chicago or LA? I've been really anxious to go to Nine Zero One Salon in LA. They do a lot of celebrities and Instagram models hair.

Hope you're enjoying the rest of 2014!
